What Causes Swelling Under The Eyes After Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery on April 25th and May 9th. I have excellent vision now but I was left with bags under my eyes which I did not have prior to surgery. Neither y husband (he s a doctor) or my friends state these bags existed prior to surgery. These bags became apparent immediately after the surgeries. What is your opinion - is. this trauma to the eyes, stress and can expect this to subside over the next 6 months???

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Cataract surgery does not lead to production of bags under the eye. This is usually a collection of the fat. Happens with the age. If they have appeared, then are not due the surgery. May reduce, not very sure. Thanks
