What Causes Swollen And Hard Lumps On The Inside Of Lower Gums?

Good day! My husband started with some blisters inside his mouth two days ago. Today he is complaining that his right eye is quite sore - he actually experiences pain on the whole right side of his face - also complains about a sore throat. I looked into his mouth - Saw two big swollen hard bumps/lumps on the inside of his lower gums behind his teeth on both sides. ???

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.....

As per your complain hard bumps inside the gums can be due to infection in teeth leading to dental abscess formation or can be due to wisdom tooth due to inflammation of the gum flap around the wisdom tooth due to infection which can lead to inflammatory swelling over the gums as well as on the cheek and can also lead to pain which can radiate to throat ,jaw and even eye and ear..
You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and along with it get an IOPAR [x ray] done in order to rule out the exact cause of the bumps and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now for pain you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen for relief [advil or motrin]..
