What Causes Swollen And Itching Eyes?

a couple of months ago i woke up with swollen itchy red eyes, which i though was a reaction to a new face cream i had been using, i stopped using it straight away i applied vasaline to the eye area as i started to get dry skin on my eyes, it starts to clear up and the nexts thing i know im back to square one, its been on and off now for nearly 3 months, doctor gave me some hydracortisone cream which seems to help but when i stop using its back again, what could be causing this, could a allergy test help.

it is allergic conjunctivitis. will respond to steroid and reappear after some time. the cause of allergy is to found out. it can be food pollen in atmospherepet in house. or you should goforallergy test once it is located you should avoid it.
