What Causes Swollen Ankle On Right Leg After Placing Bilateral Iliac Stents?

on Feb 10th I had bilateral illiac stents put in- s/p surgery I had 2 hematoma's that have subsided- 2 wks post surgery I began to have a swollen right leg from the thigh to the ankle- currently it appears that it is more the ankle- I have pain in my right ankle and it is so swollen and becomes more swollen throughout the day- what do you think- How do I know that it is not kidney issue or diabetes issue- I started taking plavix but it is weird that it is only my right leg Please help
