What Causes Swollen Breast, Bloating And Increased Appetite After Missing Petogen Shot?

Hi, I ve been on Petogen since the 5th of November 2015, went back on the 28th of January this year for another shot. I was due for a third shot on the 22nd of April but I didn t go until the 17th of May, and I was sexually active in between. My question is, could I be pregnant withi this 3 weeks? How long does it take to wear off? I m experiencing swollen breasts, bloating and increased appetite but I haven t had a period since I started using petogen. Also have done 3 pregnancy tests and they came out negative

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, it can be signs of pregnancy though complete wearing of drug effects can take months but atleast therapeutic levels may fall that's why such intervals are recommended to get a booster dose.

If urine tests are negative for pregnancy it may be likely that you will not be pregnant and symptoms can be unrelated to pregnancy, However for reassurance you can get ultrasound pelvis and blood beta HCG levels. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
