What Causes Swollen Breasts And Lump Under Armpit?

Let me start by saying both of my breasts were painfully swollen for the past two weeks .. they have done this before so.it s normal for me.. I am 34 yrs old.. I have yearly mammograms and I had my breast exam.in October from my obgyn.. about a week and a half ago during the time my breast were painfully swollen I found a painful ovam lump under my left armpit... It along with both breast are painful to the touch.. I had a mammogram done Thursday but haven t got Tue results I.am scheduled to see my obgyn.Monday.. could it be a lymph node I am terrified its breast cancer

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Is there any lump palpable in either of the breasts.
Breast lump along with lump in the armpit is suggestive of breast tumor until proven otherwise.
What are the results of mammography?
Painful breasts can occur in cases of mastitis, breast abscess, duct ectasia, inflammatory breast cancer etc.
Associated lump under armpit is suggestive of an enlarged lymph node.
Aspiration cytology of both breast lumps and lump under the armpit is required to know the nature of the lesions.
Further management can be planned after the above mentioned investigations are done.
