General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can cause hormonal imbalance and may cause increase in weight, or breast enlargement etc. and hormonal profile may be needed, however ultrasound pelvis is advised to look for the cause of eight sided pelvic pain as it can be sign of local inflammation. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be helpful alongside anti spasmodic like Drotaverine for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
