General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is normal for bruises to change color to blue in a few days. Also, because she is elevating the arm, the bruise may move from the hand to the arm due to gravity.

I would say, she does not need to worry. The bruise will spontaneously heal in the next week or 10 days while she does not need to do any specific treatment.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
