What Causes Swollen Ear?

My two year old is complaining of pain the outside of her left ear is swollen, i guess is called the tragus, it hurts her when we touch it or pull shirts on or off. No fevers, or any other complains. What could be the cause? did she hit it or pull it? infection?

Hello,

Swollen Tagus and pain on compressing tragus suggest towards otitis externa ear infection. So, otoscopy and local ear examination should be done for that.

Topical antibiotic drops prescribed if needed. Consult an otorhinolaryngologist for the examination.
