What Causes Swollen Eye?

My left eye has been swollen for 2 days now, I randomly got a swollen eye when I woke up the day before yesterday. When I poke my swollen eye it hurts and when i blink it feels a little uncomfortable but my eyes are not red or anything. Neither do I have issues with my sight

Thanks for posting your query.

Its infection of the eyelid/eyelids. It might have happened due to insect bite or minor touch to eyelid while rubbing .

My advise is apply warm compresses over your eyes 2-3 times a day. Avoid touching eyes or eyelids.

if the swelling persists even after doing these then you need to consult doctor as you may require Antibiotic course.
