What Causes Swollen Eyelid?

My eye-lid started hurting two days ago. Today I woke up with a swollen eye-lid. It hurts to touch it, or wipe it. Its a little red, and where it really hurts, it feels like theres a bump there. I don't know what it is. I'm worried because, I just been told I have a u.t.i & I haven't had any medication for it. I know theres a chance of being able to catch kidney problems, if not taking medicine. And when i looked up the symptoms for my eye problem, it said it could be because, kidney disorder. Please help.

It appers to be sty. If so epilation is to be done and antibiotic eye ointment like neosporine may be used. Clean the eye lid with sterile swab For pain you can take combiflam tablet.
