What Causes Swollen Eyes In A Baby?

My baby is 6 month old. Everyday his eyes are swollen. No redness but he rubs his eye coz of irritation in day time and then it swells. Every morning they are swollen themselves. At four months i gave him once rice cereal water and for 6 days i gave him apple and watermelon juice other than breastfeeding.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no redness or discharge, this is less likely to be significant. Anyhow, if you really feels it’s swollen significantly, kindly consult a pediatrician, as we have assess for any edema.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
