What Causes Swollen Face And Snoring?

When I first wake up in the mornings my face is really swollen. My husband says I ve been snoring recently also. It goes down some during the day but how can I prevent this facial swelling? Also, is there anything I can do to reduce the swelling when it happens?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. It could be due to angioedema. Take non sedating antihistamine like levocetrizine twice daily. Other than angioedema, common causes include anemia, low protein level, kidney and cardiac issues. Consulting a physician is recommended. Hope it helps
