What Causes Swollen Face, Itching And Boils Under Waist And Head?
I am taking AMTAS 2.5 every night since10 years. since 15 days i am having itching and boils around my waist and on head and finally swelling on the face and lips. This occours generally in the nighr and controlled bt ALLERGAN. Is it side effect of AMTAS or of X met 500 SR I am using for Diabitis thrice a day since 2 years.

The itching, and skin rash,swelling of face & lips are definate indication of allergic reaction.
M tas 2.5 you are taking over last 10 years. So more possibly it is X met 550 xr...allergy.
Please stop taking the drug ,take allegra for the allergy & see your treating doctor for diabetis. For change in medication &treatment of boils you have.
Continue with diet restrictions & exercises advised along with new medication.
