What Causes Swollen Feet And Legs And Skin Discoloration From Calf To Ankles?
Hello and thank you. What kind of physician (specialist) should one consult due to legs and feet that swell and now from mid calf down to ankles has discoloration under the skin. An Internist was consulted and tests were done ruling out diabeties, blood clots, heart problems and the discoloration was determined to not be bruising. We are at a loss here. What could it be and what type of specialist should be seen?

I would suggest consulting a Vascular expert. Who would assess the blood circulating vessels in the lower limb (like varicosities or deep vein thrombosis?
Which give similar symptoms like yours) & offer you needful treatment &life style changes you need.
