What Causes Swollen Feet While Having Upper Respiratory Infection?
My 93 yr old mother has a terrible upper respiratory infection. Her feet are extremely swollen. They look like if I touched the with a pin fluid would run out. She does not walk well, & is almost blind. Could her feet be a sign of congestive heart failure?
Possibly yes, but she needs immediate medical help. So, send her to the ER as soon as possible. Her cardiovascular system, respiratory tract, liver/kidney function should be checked too. Send her to the ER. There is nothing you can do alone at home.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
