What Causes Swollen Gland Behind Right Ear?

I have a swollen gland behind my right ear. It s been there for a while, but within the last couple of weeks it s gotten three times the size it was. It s about the size of a dime. It hurts moderately, gives me a massive headache only on the right side of my head, hurts my ear, and hurts the back of my eye. I m trying to figure this out, and really worries me. Any ideas of what the problem is?
