What Causes Swollen Hands And Painful Veins While Suffering From High BP?

Hi, I suffer from high blood pressure. Yesterday while drinking a bowl of soup which was a bit too salty i started to experience tingling, numbness and then a severe pain in my left hand. The pain felt like it was in my veins on the top of my hand. The hand is swollen and i get a severe pain even now if i touch a particular point on one of my veins. What is going on? The numbness has been coming and going for a couple months but this PAIN is new.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptom nothing to take anything with what you drank but better to avoid more salt if you are hypertensive, such symptoms of numbness and tingling in hand could be due to cervical spine disease, and this need to be ruled out, hope this information, take care and have a nice day.
