What Causes Swollen Left Tonsil And Sore Throat?

Hi I m Alyssa I m 23. I ve had a swollen left tonsil and my throat it very sore. I am a light smoker. It has been bothering me for the left few weeks and I m becoming more nervous. I also know my wisdom teeth are trying to come through. I will post pictures if asked.

This indicates upper respiratory tract infection with involvement of the tonsils in the form of acute tonsillitis. I would prefer to treat this condition by the use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and decongestants.
