Hi I have CID stage 5 Gfr 14. My legs are swollen. Mild on and of shabby pains in chest. Very mild. Extremely tired and feeling a bit fuzzy. Have just finished 12 hr shift so that might be why. On early work up as transplant needed. But should I be concerned with current symptoms. Do I need to do anything ? Thanks

Hi there.

Your swollen legs could be because of loss of salts in the urine which is needed to keep the fluid in the blood vessels normally. The chest pains could be due to accumulation of fluid in your chest pleural cavity around your lungs especially if you have some trouble breathing. Kindly get an ultrasound to look out for the same.Eat a diet rich in protein.
