What Causes Swollen Legs And Cough While Suffering From Poor Lung Capacity?

My husband has a level of 34 percent breathing, he has very swelled legs and feet and terrible cough sin e October, I know he is in rough shape and his Dr. Doesn t say much to him, he is angry all the time, I try to make his day better We have been happily married for 50 yrs and I don t know what to do. 34 per cent is not good?

Are you mentioning peak expiratory flow rate? What is the cause of this? Is he a smoker or COPD case?

Prognosis depends upon the cause as such you not mentioned here.

Please get it done a chest X-ray and HRCT and consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
