What Causes Swollen Lymph Node On Right Side Of Neck?

Hi, so I have a swollen lymph node like right under my neck and it has been this way for a few months. Every time something touches it like my shirt or necklace, makes me feel like puking.. But I don t really have time or the money to go to the doctors...what should I do?

I am Dr.Saddiq ul Abidin. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

Our neck has muktiple lymph nodes in the neck which have immunity functions. So swollen lymph nodes responds to multiple conditions which may be local infections like after sore throat or systemic infections like tubercukosis. This may also occur in tumors/cancers like blood tumors. It may also occur in connective tissue disorders and immunological conditions.
So in short you cannot take it light. If you have a sore throat lately then it may be because of that. So I would suggest you to visit your physician immediately and get all the evaluation done. Like your lab investigations.
These all conditions are treatable with good prognosis so don't worry and get your assessment done
