What Causes Swollen Lymph Node On The Back Side Of Head?

My lymph node on the right- back side on my head is swollen. Sometimes it hurts. I m now 21, but I noticed it as a sophomore in HS. My doctor at time told me if it started bothering me to get it checked out. May be a tumor, possible surgery. I have yet been to the doctor since. It s not an unbearable pain. Just enough to notice. I recently had a baby in Jan this year. After all the blood work and urine samples during those nine months. Would they know something was wrong if there were?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Shortness of breath with leg swelling and bloating of stomach needs evaluation by work up like EKG, echocardiogram as well as renal and liver functions and serum albumin levels and urinalysis for any albumin losses. In any case detailed examination, before this work up including chest and cardiac examination by your primary care physician and shouldn't be ignored.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
