What Causes Swollen Lymph Node On Throat Causing Difficulty To Swallow?
I have been having a hard time swallowing for the past few weeks and its been getting worse over the last few days. Its gotten so bad to where I can hardly eat a meal and ive noticed either a lump or my lymph node has been swollen on the right side of my throat.
Understanding your concern. As per your query swollen lymph node on throat causing difficulty to swallow is due to inflammation and infection of lymph nodes which can lead to upper respiratory tract infection as well. Need not to worry much. Do warm saline gargles with luke warm water. Avoid cold carbonated drinks and avoid hot sharp spicy food. Take combination of levocetirizine and acetaminophen for immediate relief of symptoms. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. Go for sputum test, blood tests and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Sip warm water whole day.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
