What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Numbness On Face?

I have swollen lymph nodes that have only grown bigger in size since I ve noticed them. Today I noticed one grew to about the size of a gumball. I was able to move it around but unlike last time it cost me severe pain. Now part of my face is completely numb and when I touch it my eye begins to hurt. I have a terrible headache and my face is swollen. I m scared, what should I do?

Hello,
This sounds like it may be tooth related with facial swelling. An abscessed tooth can cause swelling and needs treatment . Often antibiotics such as amoxicillin is prescribed to control swelling. Antiinflammatory medication such as tenor or Advil can reduce inflammation. A diagnosis will make treatment recommendations such as a root canal or extractions. Other possibilities include periodontal infections or wisdom teeth. Your dentist can evaluate your mouth and take necessary XRays. Do you have any broken teeth or teeth that you can't put pressure on?
If you have no diagnosed dental problems, you can still take anti inflammatory medication to try and reduce symptoms. See your doctor for evaluation. Viral or bacterial infections are possible. Bloodwork can help evaluate your organs for systemic disorders such as mononucleosis.
I hope this is helpful. Thank you for your inquiry.
