Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
A clinical assessment is required to ascertain the nature of the swellings - lymph nodes or soft tissue swellings.
After clinical assessment, an aspiration cytology of the swellings can be done to determine the nature of swellings.
In aspiration cytology, cells are aspirated from the swelling using a fine needle.
The cells are spread on a slide and stained with appropriate stain and examined microscopically.
Further management can be planned after determining the nature of the swelling.

Thanks and take care
