What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes On The Right Side Of The Neck?
after a recent checkup, I have high blood pressure, and am taking Losartin. My doctor examined my neck area and I have to get a scan of my neck for an enlarged lymph node on my right side. What causes the swelling, and what might be the reasons? I am 60 years old, smoke 6 cigarettes a day, and drink moderately

Commonly infections are what cause swollen nodes usually infections causing swelling in cervical nodes are TB, other chronic ches infections and tonsil infections.
Other causes of swelling might include neoplasias. I would suggest you not to panic and get on with the scan things will clear up.
