What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Under The Jawline?

I have had a pimply patch just to the left side of my face. It has been approx. 4 days now. The little white heads have dried up but it is still red. My question concerns a little swollen gland area just under my jawline I just noticed yesterday. It small & very firm. Should I have cause for concern? I haven t worn make-up in years & forgot to take it off before I went to sleep. I have very sensitive skin.

Thanks for query. I understand your concern.
Lymph node under jaw is symptom of swelling/infection any where on face..in .nose.. eyes.. ears mouth / scalp .
Medical check up to find the site /extent of infection followed by anti inflammatory pills &antibiotic as per need would help.
