What Causes Swollen Painful Area Around Pimple Behind Ear?
Hi. I had what I thought was a pimple behind my left ear. I squeezed it and heard and felt a distinct pop. Nothing came out - it was internal. Now I have a swollen painful area the size of half a squash ball behind my ear. Is this a ruptured lymph node? My GP said wait two weeks to see if he needs to biopsy. Any thoughts?

you should visit a general surgeon for examination and biopsy
you may require a course off antibiotics under observation of your doctor
