General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the scrotal edema is in relation with the extravasation of the extra fluid in the scrotal sac, which is not normal and alarming. The underlying cause may be in relation with the issue of:
- Heart failure
- Protein level alteration
- Others

However, a confirmatory ultrasound of the scrotum with color Doppler is must in this instance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
