What Causes Swollen Spots Above And Below The Eyes?

41 days ago two red swollen spots appeared suddenly under left eye. The next week the spots disappeared but the affected area was larger, red and rough. The next week, it appeared above the eye and made skin puffy. Soon after, the right eye developed a red swollen spot on the upper lid and on skin below the eye.
Nothing new, used nothing new, no itching, no discharge. Eyelids not affected, nor the white of the eyes.
Used antibiotic cream and Bactroban, but both burned and did not make any improvement. Physician Assistant diagnosed blepharitis but I do not have most of the classic symptoms.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having recurrent swelling and spots on the eyelids.
My response to your question is as below.

These symptoms indicate inflammation of the eye lid margin called as blepharitis. Blepharitis is usually a chronic condition and it requires treatment for a relatively long time.

The treatment is by use of lid scrubs, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question.
Do write back to me for further questions.

With regards
