What Causes Swollen Stomach And Vomiting Along With Appetite Loss?

Hi I had a tram flap 10 years ago and my stomach is so swollen along with vomiting and loss of appetite its been going on since Dec. 2014 and had every test done to elimate other problems. I had to have two surgeries after the tram flap for infections and had my drains in for 3 months. What do I do to find out if I have an infection

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Tram flap infection is a common issue. Swelling around stomach due to collection of pus around it.

Repeated infection occurs due to low immunity. Have protein-rich food. Proper handling of flap. Take appropriate antibiotics described by your treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
