What Causes Swollen Tender Lymph Nodes And Hives On Back And Legs?

I have been feeling very fatigued, sore and achy, swollen tender lymph nodes everywhere, even where I didn t know lymph nodes were. Frequent urination, headache, and yesterday hives popped up on my legs and back. I don t know what it could be, I haven t hardly eaten or drank anything the past couple days and taken benadryl but can t think of a reason it could be an allergy. I haven t consumed anything abnormal. There was a measles outbreak where I m from recently but I believe I was vaccinated for that when I was little. What could possibly be going on?! I feel awful...but surprisingly enough I have no fever...

Hello,

As per your case history, you have an urticarial rash. My treatment advice is-
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for two months.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
