What Causes Swollen Throat After Taking Toviaz Tablet?

I was prescribed toviaz and I was eating dinner and my throat started swelling up and I was only able to eat two servings of food and I could not swallow, I tried drinking water to make the food go down but it did not help. I ended up throwing up and my throat was extremely soar for about 12 hrs. I could not even eat or drink the rest of the evening.

The symptoms are consistent with an allergic reaction. Whether it was because of the drug you took or some food item that you ingested is not clear from your description. So it is better to consult the physician who prescribed the drug and relate the incident to him for deciding a further course of action.
