What Causes Swollen, Tight Vagina In A Sexually Active Person?

Hi, I've been sexually active for about 4 months now. And increasingly my vagina walls have become more swollen and my vagina is tighter. It gets tighter and uncomfortable during and after sex, sometimes painful. But I've noticed that it's still very tight at the moment even though I haven't had sex for 2 weeks. It isn't painful, but I'm worried because it gets worse from sex, and doesn't seem to be recovering like you'd expect it to.
