Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that the diarrhea and ulcers on the tongue with swelling are related to the depletion of normal bacterial flora only due to intake of large doses of medicines.

As you are already taking Probiotics, you should wait till its effects start and the diarrhea stops. However, for the swollen tongue and ulcers, you can apply local Benzocaine gel (Mucopain) over the ulcers 3-4 times a day.

In addition, it is also possible that this reaction is allergic in nature and no other medicines except antihistamines work for the relief. Thus, I would recommend you to start Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days.

However, if nothing helps, you should consult a physician for physical examination and further investigations.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
