What Causes Swollen Tonsils And Sore Throat With Red Spots On It?

I woke up yesterday with a swollen tonsil and sore throat. It hurts bad to swallow. My whole body was sore and i had shoetness of breath and felt lghtheaded. My tonsil had a bright red spot and other spots that looked purple. Today it has white stuff on it...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from follicular tonsillitis and the white spots seems to be pus pocket that has occurred secondary to bacterial infection..
The while spots seems to be due to pus formation..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be given antibiotics like Azithromycin, anti inflamamtroy painkiller like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can suck throat lozenges and also chew a Vitamin C pellet daily..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods and take a soft bland diet..
