What Causes Swollen Tonsils While Suffering From Bartholin Cyst?
I was recently diagnosed with a bartholin cyst about 3 weeks ago (I have had it for 4 weeks). It hasn t gotten smaller or larger but I was told it would ago away. It hasn t. I also didn t receive any antibiotics. Also, my right tonsil has bee inflamed and swollen for the past 3 weeks. This is something that happens off and on but has never lasted this long. There is no puss or white lesions. I don t have a primary doctor. What do you suggest? Are the linked together? Should I be worried?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The Bartholini cyst is no related to swollen tonsils. The swollen tonsils can be related to a tonsillitis which is an inflammation of the tonsils. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties. If the symptoms continue, antibiotics may be needed.
