What Causes Swollen Tonsils With Red Bump On Them?

Hello, I have a question. My tonsils are swollen and on one of them there are pea sized bumped popping out that are much more red than the tonsils themselves. Very little amount of yellow puss. No pain at all no earaches nothing besides inflammation. What could it be?

Hello

Welcome to healthcaremagic.

You are suffering from tonsilitis.Though you have no other symptoms now but i think the presence of pus means it is infected by bacteria and it follow other symptoms like difficulty in swallowing, ear pains, fever, sore throat, headaches, and tenderness of the throat and jaw gradually.

The treatment of this includes antibiotics and over the counter pain medications.I advise you to visit a doctor, get it properly checked and start your antibiotic course before the infection spreads.

Hope i answered your query.Have a good day.
