What Causes Swollen Upper Lip While Having Runny Nose?
Last night, my upper lip became extremely swollen and stayed that way for approximately 9 hours. It has stayed slightly swollen for 4 hours since then. The swelling did not go down when I took benedryl. I also have a slight metallic taste in my mouth. The rest of my face didn't swell, and I have no other symptoms that I know of. I had a cold before that happened and have continued to have a stuffy nose and soar throat, but I doubt it's related. I have no history of food allergies. What could have caused this?
