What Causes Swollen Vein In Groin Area?

I had inguinal hernia surgery 5 days ago. Now I feel a the vain thing in my groin is rock hard and very tender going into my scrotum. Testicle itself does not hurt but this vain or what ever it is, and is swollen even in scrotum but not hard in the sack. This starts at the insision And goes all the way into my scrotum. Please help me.

Hi.

This is nothing to worry about at all. Give it some time and I am sure things should return back to normal. If at all the swelling or hardened structure doesnt return to normal then write back to me and attach an image of the region or visit your local doctor. For now, just let it be.
