Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
While showering last night, I felt a swollen vein in my left arm pit. Never noticed it before. No trauma to that area. Just checked my b/p a few days ago....it was 117/78. Not diabetic. I am a smoker....less than a pack a day....but have smoked for about 25-30 years. I m 49. Weight about 205. 6 1.
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you may need to get a review to rule out any lymphadenopathy that is swollen lymph node in your armpit as it my be dangerous if that’s normal then it may be just skin pigmentation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
