What Causes Swooshing Noise In Ear After Tympanoplasty Surgery?

I am 11 days post op with a tympanoplasty surgery to my left ear. It was a large perforation that was grafted with my own cartilage. As of last night I have been feeling my heartbeat and hearing a swooshing noise with in that ear. The packing is a gel that will dissolve over the next few weeks. At times I feel like there is a vice squeezing my head. Otherwiswe, no pain No up coming appt. with my doctor......so is this something to worry about?

No nothing can be said till the required healing takes place. Till the these sounds or any other issue can be negated. If there is pain discharge bleeds then the Dr needs to be contacted.
