What Causes Symptoms Of Gastritis While On Duloxetine And Lyrica?

I have GERD, but I was prescribe a medication for fibromylagia, I started having discomfort in my chest, like tightness, I stop taking the medication duloxetine dr 20mg capsules and lyrica. But I m still having the discomfort and it seems to feel worst when I raise my hands. When I rub my chest, I have systems of gas that I typically get from the GERD. Not sure if it may be a side effect of the medicine or not.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Duloxetin and Lyrica can cause gastritis and worsen ongoing GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
So better to avoid these drugs on empty stomach, take them after food.
Take pantoprazole and levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice daily.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
