What Causes Symptoms Of Pregnancy Post Tubal Ligation?

I am a 45 year old woman who is experiencing pregnancy symptoms for some reason. I am an American, currently in the middle east (Jordan) so I don t have access to my dr . I had a tubal 15 years ago and an ablasion 3 years ago. I do not have periods anymore. My symptoms are weight gain, especially stomach, always hungry and weird cravings, I have vomited twice in the morning, breasts were tender for awhile but no longer, and I m very tired with occasional headaches. Should I even attempt to buy a pregnancy test or is this a possible other condition I can wait to see my Dr in the USA for? I am in no pain anywhere, and I am not experiencing anything else out of the ordinary. Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As you are 45 years old & have undergone tubal ligation 15 years old, chances of pregnancy should be negligible. You must be undergoing menopause. Menopause is life event in females life ( typically between 40 to 50 years of age) when she stops ovulation.
Caessation of ovulation causes lack of sex hormones & high hormonal changes in females body. This might be the reason of you having symptoms of pregnancy such as weight gain, increased hungry, weird cravings, vomiting, tender breasts, etc.

However if you are sexually active you should undergo a pregnancy test to rule-out pregnancy possibility completely.

Refer to a gynaecologist.
