Hi, My 19 year old daughter has had 3 TB tests done and every time she passes out. The last test, when she came to they moved her and she passed out again. Other than that she seemd to be fine and all tests are negative. Is this a serious problem to be worried about? What precautions can be taken to avoid this in the future? Thank you

Hello, It might be due to severe anxiety about the test. Detailed evaluation is required, you have to get a complete blood count to rule out anemia. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
