What Causes Tailbone Pain In Teenagers?

my 12 year old daughter frequently complains of tailbone pain. She s had xrays that come back normal but her pain is still there. We ve done physical therapy and nsaids. Today was the last straw. She used the restroom and urinated but then she felt afraid when she felt like her bowels were going to give way uncontrollably. She did not defecate because she was afraid the feeling she was having as she never felt that way before. Can you tell me if you know what is happening?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the chronic complain of pain of coccyx region then better to get done the MRI test till the NSAID can be continued if the MRI turns to be negative then pain could be due to functional on origin hope this information helps.
