What Causes Tender Blotch On Leg After An Injury?

Hello. In clearing my car of snow 2 weeks ago, I slipped and slid under the front bumper (my right leg absorbed the contact). I had immediate swelling (extensive for lower leg in my opinion). Since then the swelling has almost disappeared but I now have a red blotch where my leg contacted the car. The location of the blotch is very tender. Do I have a bruise only or a possible fracture?
