What Causes Tender Knot On My Right Temple?

I just got a knot on my right temple a few days ago. It s the size of my little finger. It only hurts when it s touched or if I lay on my right side. I ve not hit it and it s not red or doesn t even look like a pimple. I have no other symptoms other than one day, I had what I thought was pink eye. But that went away the next day. What could this be?

hi.

based from your description, it could be a fibroma (fibrous tissue formation), a lipoma (a fatty deposit) or a cystic formation (sebaceous or keratinous type). other types of lesions must also be ruled-out. a consult with your doctor is best for clinical evaluation, especially if the lesion is bothersome for you. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
