What Causes Tender Swelling Below Earlobe?

Right below my earlobe it is very tender to touch. Maybe a little swollen. Back 20 years ago I had a real problem with Otitis media. The soreness {to my gland or what ever is hurting) is the same, however I have no ear pain or any sign of ear problems. Thanks Terry

it may be localized inflammation. since there is history of otitismedia, then get it examined by ent doctor. if otitis is ruled out then treat it as local infection. can take ezythrocin 500mg daily for 3days. apply beta dine lotion, and take some analgesic.
